Dune: Part Three Release Date (18 December 2026) – Cast, Story & IMAX Plans

Dune: Part Three adapts Frank Herbert’s Dune Messiah and completes Denis Villeneuve’s trilogy.

Release Date and IMAX

Warner Bros. and Legendary have kept the 18 December 2026 date despite the Avengers clash. IMAX screens are reportedly booked for Dune exclusively for three weeks.

Cast

Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and Florence Pugh return, Jason Momoa comes back as Duncan Idaho, and Robert Pattinson and Anya Taylor-Joy join. (Fun fact: Pattinson and Zendaya were also in 2026’s biggest hits, The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.)

Story

Years after Paul Atreides takes power, Dune Messiah shows the dark cost of his rise — a holy war in his name and conspiracies against him.
