2026 has been a huge year for Diljit Dosanjh as an actor, with three very different films — and every one of them got people talking.
1. Border 2 (January 2026)
Diljit played Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon in Anurag Singh’s 1971 war epic alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. The film grossed about ₹464.5 crore worldwide and streams on Netflix.
2. Main Vaapas Aaunga (June 2026)
In Imtiaz Ali’s Partition-era love story, Diljit plays Nirvair, a grandson caring for his grandfather (Naseeruddin Shah). It became a sleeper hit with about ₹100 crore worldwide and streams on Netflix.
3. Satluj (July 2026)
Diljit played human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra in Honey Trehan’s biopic. Critics unanimously praised his performance, but the film was pulled from ZEE5 days after release.
